KC Madhatters

This group meets informally to share patterns and problems while knitting and crocheting baby hats and other items needed by local hospitals, nursing homes, etc.  Participants should know the basics of knitting or crocheting.  You must bring your own yarn and needles/hooks.  Patterns are available.

If you would like to participate in this project, but cannot attend the Tuesday sessions, you can drop off your items at the library.  We will see that they get delivered for you.  For hourly credit, please include your name, address, and hours.

Decorative Painting (for Beginners)

This session is for those who have had some instruction or know the basics of wood preparation and stroke work.  Prior to attending one of these sessions, you must prepare your project surface and trace the pattern for the project.  There is a fee of $6.00 per session.  Supplies are NOT provided.  Please call Sharon Levadnuk at (302)846-9574 for supply sheets and patterns.

Additional decorative painting sessions are being planned for those of you who would like to started or cannot attend on Tuesday or Thursday.  If you are interested, please sign up at the library circulation desk and indicate the nights you would be available.
