"Friends of the Library believe that the strength of a library lies not only in its collections of books and materials, but also in its programs and services. Friends also believe that libraries are for everyone of all ages, income levels, ethnic origins and all neighborhoods and geographic regions of the community."
"In order to meet the ongoing needs of our public library, we want to enlist assistance from the very people who support our institution and our mission - our friends. The Friends assist by developing Library facilities and services for the community, encouraging gifts and bequests to the library and stimulating greater public support and use."
Many of the Friends volunteer at the library; however, anyone is welcome to become a volunteer. If interested, please ask for a volunteer application at the library's front desk.
The Spring Book & Bake Sale
will be a two (2) day occasion this year!
Friday, October 17 - Book Sale Only from 4pm-7pm
Saturday, October 18 - Book & Bake Sale 8am-noon
